Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large.

In line with this, the Kwantas Group’s vision is “To Do Good Is The Greatest Joy” which encompasses care of the environment, employee development and welfare, community development and philanthropy. The Management and staff at Kwantas are committed to helping others less fortunate than themselves, giving back to society and supporting the community.

During the past year, the Group has undertaken several initiatives under the CSR programme. As part of the ongoing programme to support local schools funding, Kwantas has made a contribution of approximately RM100,000 to schools within the State of Sabah.

Staff welfare is vital to Kwantas and regular sports, games and activities are organized to encourage team building and team spirit. This includes Speech contests, swimming competition, football matches, basketball games and bowling. In the year, Kwantas also organised few blood donation campaigns with the staff and the response was overwhelming. The staff also played their part in helping others by visiting the less fortunate and too eiderly .
