From its humble beginnings of a single company, the Group has grown and flourished to what it is today. The business has achieved its success with the singular aim to create value for its shareholders, preserving their investment and belief in the company.

But success does not come easily.  It takes hard work, perseverance, tolerance and sheer determination by all concerned to make it work. And this has been achieved with the help of a strong management team and good leadership.

The company has seen 30 years of organic growth and is now a transnational company with offices in Lahad Datu,  Kota Kinabalu, Guangzhou,  Shanghai,  Zhangjiagang and Hong Kong.

Kwantas Corporation Berhad was incorporated in 1995 as an investment holding company and was listed on the  Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange). The core business of the Group is in palm oil based activities including plantations, oil mills,  palm kernel crushing, refineries and palm oil bulking facilities, making  Kwantas an integrated palm oil producer.

The Group is managed by an experienced, long serving and dedicated team headed by members of the Kwan family who have been in the palm oil business  for more than 20 years.

2003 was a landmark year for the Group as it saw turnover for the Group exceeding  RM 1 billion for the first time. This outstanding success is a testament to the careful planning and judicious management that has been put into practice and is now bearing fruit. By achieving such results,  it gives the Group the confidence, motivation and impetus to drive the business forward.
